Military and Combat Imagery

The Military and Combat Imagery gallery engages with the representations of the ideal masculine body of an SADF soldier, as fit and prepared for battle in fighting for his country. Similarly, this imagery also perpetuates the ‘ideal’ attitude or mental state of an SADF soldier, which relates to the content found in Media Specials focussing on Training Camps and Operations Training for SADF soldiers and the ideas of “Self-Confidence Training” and “Teamwork”.
